Position Overview

The Senior Executive – Finance will be responsible for managing GST-related activities, reconciliations, vendor coordination, and compliance processes. This role requires strong expertise in GST operations, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. The position is based out of the Swiggy Headquarters in Bengaluru.

As part of our growing Finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate taxation, timely reconciliations, and smooth compliance processes that support business integrity and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strong working knowledge of GST and ensure accurate compliance.

• Perform GSTR 2A reconciliation with the Purchase Register.

• Stay updated on the latest amendments in GST laws and regulations.

• Coordinate with vendors to resolve queries ensuring timely recovery.

• Follow up on reconciliation items with internal & external stakeholders.

• Ensure accurate and timely Debit Note & Credit Note reconciliation.

• Build effective cross-functional relationships with key business teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in GST return filing and reconciliation
  (prior experience in e-commerce / retail / food tech preferred).

• MBA (Finance) or a Finance graduate preferred.

• Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, and accounting compliances.

• Understanding of the impact of debit notes and credit notes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.

• Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi.

• Ability to work independently with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

• Flexible, eager to learn, and able to manage challenges effectively.
