Accounts Executive
Job Description
About the Role
We’re looking for an Accounts Executive who will handle day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support the finance team in maintaining compliance and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries and ledger maintenance
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding dues
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and records
- Support in GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliances
- Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
- Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
- High attention to detail and accuracy
