Positional Overview:

Finance & Insurance Executive must support the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes, including support to clients as they work with and understand these processes. Performs accounting functions specifically in the areas of account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and ensure accurate posting and balancing of transactions in the general ledger, ensuring all financial data is up to date and reconciled.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Generate and present financial reports, ensuring clarity and accuracy for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between records or accounts, working with clients and teams to identify solutions and prevent future issues.

Skills:

  • Ability to meticulously review financial data and accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify discrepancies, determine their root cause, and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to clearly explain financial information and processes to clients, ensuring they understand the necessary actions to maintain accuracy.
  • Comfortable working with accounting software and systems to track, record, and reconcile financial transactions and generate reports.

Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in the retail finance industry
  • Prior automobile industry experience is desirable
  • Graduate in any discipline, Knowledge of finance terminology
