Position Overview

As an Executive – Tax Data Operations, you will play a pivotal role in the UniOps Tax Data Centre of Excellence (COE), responsible for the collection and analysis of tax and finance data. The role supports compliance, reporting, and audit activities across direct tax, indirect tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing. You will also partner in developing tax-related technology infrastructure and ensure adherence to the Global Process Model (GPM).

This position is central to the Future of Tax (FOT) transformation project under Digital Finance, enabling high-quality tax data management, strong compliance, and effective support for country tax teams and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, query, and consolidate financial data from ERP systems (SAP).

  • Ensure accuracy and hygiene of master and transactional data.

  • Perform reconciliations and analyze tax data.

  • Review high-value documents for tax deductions and compliance.

  • Calculate VAT monthly/quarterly and prepare returns for global entities.

  • Prepare annual Corporate Income Tax packs across multiple countries.

  • Post tax-related entries in the books after approval from country tax teams.

  • Ensure timely tax payments to authorities and adherence to compliance frameworks.

  • Maintain monthly documentation for direct tax reporting.

  • Provide data and analysis for audits, ensuring compliance with ITGC and archiving requirements.

Technical Skills

  • Strong accounting knowledge (Record to Report).

  • Hands-on experience in Direct and Indirect Tax.

  • Proficiency in SAP (FI Module preferred).

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or workflow management tools (advantageous).

  • Strong MS Excel skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Semi-qualified CA / Master’s degree in Accounting with 2–3 years of experience.

  • Newly qualified CMA (first attempt) also considered.

  • Prior work experience in Accounting and Finance.
