Accountant<\/h2>\n

Main Duties and Responsibilities<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n
\n

Technical and Operations<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and taxes<\/li>\n
  • Prepare periodic financial reports and weekly cash flow statements in accordance with IFRS and report to direct manager<\/li>\n
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts in coordination with internal stakeholders<\/li>\n
  • Follow up on account payables and receivables and related reconciliations<\/li>\n
  • Liaise regularly with the direct manager and other internal stakeholders on all financial reporting activities and accounting inquiries<\/li>\n
  • Prepare the payroll and coordinate the closing process on a monthly basis<\/li>\n
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in the management of stock depreciation<\/li>\n
  • Review, control and validate tax declarations as per country laws and regulations<\/li>\n
  • Maintain a solid relationship with banks and financial institutions to guarantee the best terms and conditions for the company<\/li>\n
  • Work with external and internal auditors and assist with the required information and documentation as appropriate<\/li>\n
  • Assess current practices and procedures and conduct periodic evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities and system optimization<\/li>\n
  • Ensure the existing IT platform is optimally utilized and participate in the implementation of new systems\/processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Lead and coach the team cultivating empowerment and ownership<\/li>\n
    • Develop capabilities and secure a solid succession plan<\/li>\n
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, identify training needs and oversee development plans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role<\/p>\n
