Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

JGM Contracting is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and site-level financial records. The role involves handling accounts in Tally ERP, maintaining financial documentation, tracking payments, and supporting labour and material record management.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of GST and construction accounting practices, along with strong organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Maintain complete accounts using Tally ERP.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Record purchase bills, supplier invoices, and vouchers accurately.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Track payment receipts and customer collections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Reconcile bank statements regularly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage petty cash transactions and records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Maintain site attendance register.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Prepare and update labour payment register.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Maintain material inward and outward records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Assist in wage processing and labour payment documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure proper record-keeping and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills and Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in Tally ERP.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Basic understanding of GST regulations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Knowledge of construction accounting practices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Good organizational and communication skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong attention to detail and record-keeping ability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
