Job Summary
\nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee complete accounting operations, including vendor payments, cheque management, taxation, and financial reporting for our textile retail business.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nAccounts & Finance
\nManage day-to-day accounting activities
\nPrepare financial statements, profit & loss account, and balance sheet
\nMaintain accounts payable and receivable
\nMonitor cash flow and fund management
\nParty Payments & Vendor Management
\nHandle party payments and vendor settlements
\nPrepare and verify payment vouchers
\nMaintain payment schedules and due date tracking
\nReconcile supplier accounts regularly
\nCoordinate with vendors regarding outstanding balances
\nCheque & Banking Operations
\nIssue cheques and maintain cheque register
\nMonitor cheque dates, post-dated cheques, and clearance status
\nHandle cheque deposit and bank reconciliation
\nEnsure proper documentation for all bank transactions
\nManage online transfers (NEFT\/RTGS\/IMPS)
\nTaxation & Compliance
\nGST filing and statutory compliance
\nTDS calculation and filing
\nCoordinate with auditors and tax consultants
\nEnsure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
\nInventory & Reporting
\nOversee inventory accounting and stock valuation
\nPrepare periodic financial and MIS reports for management
\nAssist in budgeting and financial planning
\nRequirements
\nB.Com\/M.Com or relevant qualification
\n3\u20135 years of accounting experience (retail\/textile preferred)
\nStrong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
\nGood knowledge of GST, TDS, and banking procedures
\nHigh accuracy and attention to detail<\/p>\n
