MK Pillai & Associates is a professional accounting and consultancy firm providing bookkeeping, taxation, auditing, and financial advisory services. We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and compliance activities.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
Accounting & Bookkeeping<\/strong><\/h5>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial entries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Prepare, verify, and record invoices, bills, vouchers, and journal entries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Reconcile bank accounts and ledger balances on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Compliance & Taxation<\/strong><\/h5>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Assist in GST and TDS compliance activities, including data preparation and filings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Support basic statutory compliance and documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Maintain accurate records to support audits and regulatory reviews.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Financial Closing & Reporting<\/strong><\/h5>\n
        \n
      • \n

        Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Support the preparation of financial reports and financial statements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n
        Education<\/strong><\/h5>\n

        • \n

          Bachelor\u2019s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Experience<\/strong><\/h5>\n

          • \n

            Minimum 1 year of hands-on accounting experience<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Technical Skills<\/strong><\/h5>\n
              \n
            • \n

              Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic compliance requirements<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
