Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with strong expertise in R2R, month-end close, financial reporting, and SAP. The role involves delivering accurate US GAAP-compliant financials, managing reconciliations, and supporting business stakeholders through high-quality reporting, analysis, and process improvements.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
General Accounting<\/strong><\/h5>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Handle end-to-end general accounting activities with strong R2R understanding.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage month-end close processes including revaluation, accruals, reclass, and recurring journal entries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations with no unexplained items.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure adherence to financial policies, controls, and compliance standards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support VAT clearing, payroll postings, accruals, and reconciliation activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Recommend and implement improvements in accounting practices and departmental procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Utilize tools like RPA, Power BI, and analytics platforms to enhance accounting efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Business Partnership & Process Improvement<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    • \n

      Maintain regular collaboration with finance and business teams to deliver US GAAP-compliant financials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Provide financial analysis, explanations, and reports through strong knowledge of GAAP and SAP systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Maintain transparent accounting practices and build strong stakeholder relationships.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Support new business initiatives, controllership transitions, and finance projects.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Identify, propose, and implement process improvement opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Resolve ad-hoc queries from business, in-country teams, and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Adapt to flexible work shifts as required by business operations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        MBA in Finance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Finance \/ Accounting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n
          \n
        • \n

          Minimum 3+ years of overall finance experience<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Candidates must have worked in the finance domain for at least 10+ years<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Technical & system subject matter expertise is required<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Knowledge & Skills \u2013 Critical<\/strong><\/h4>\n

          • \n

            Hands-on experience with SAP GL, AR, AP, MM, FA modules<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Experience working with Hyperion or other consolidation tools<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Strong understanding of US GAAP and other global accounting standards<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Strong analytical and technical accounting skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Deep knowledge of R2R concepts, best practices, and finance processes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Banking domain experience is an added advantage<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Flexibility with shift timings<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            • \n

              Experience managing full-close processes for multinational groups<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n

              Audit experience is an added advantage<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            • \n
