Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are seeking experienced Tax Consultants \u2013 German Tax Compliance with 3\u201310 years of hands-on experience in tax compliance, accounting, or related domains. You will support Deloitte\u2019s global clients by delivering German individual tax return compliance services and collaborating directly with teams in Germany and India.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Prepare German tax compliance work for individual taxpayers (low to varying complexity).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Handle tax office inquiries and conduct tax briefings as required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Review client information, monitor status updates, and maintain client details.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage and coordinate the entire tax compliance process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Identify issues, document findings, and develop client queries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Communicate consistently with internal teams on client progress.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Respond to technical client queries efficiently.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage and update trackers, reports, and compliance dashboards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support the tax practice in return preparation, tax assessments, and authority handling.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Education<\/strong><\/h5>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Bachelor\u2019s degree (BCom) \/ MBA or equivalent from a reputed university with 60% and above.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Experience<\/strong><\/h5>\n
        \n
      • \n

        3 to 10 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or related financial processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Experience in German tax compliance is preferred (training will be provided).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Familiarity with DATEV (preferred).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities under pressure.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Strong organizational skills and commitment to delivering high-quality client service.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          Ability to work collaboratively and integrate quickly with global teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
