Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to support our finance operations through accurate financial reporting, strong R2R expertise, and efficient month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, deep technical knowledge, and hands-on experience in SAP and consolidation tools.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
General Accounting<\/strong><\/h5>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Execute end-to-end R2R processes with strong conceptual and process excellence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries (revaluation, accruals, reclass, recurring JEs).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Deliver high-quality account reconciliations with no unexplained items.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and work procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Coordinate accounting methods and recommend\/implement improvements in processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Handle period-close tasks such as VAT clearing, payroll postings, accruals, and reconciliations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Work with tools like RPA, Power BI, and other analytical platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Business Partnership & Process Improvement<\/strong><\/h5>\n

    • \n

      Collaborate regularly with key stakeholders to ensure US GAAP\u2013compliant financials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Provide detailed financial analysis, reports, explanations, and insights.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Maintain transparent and compliant accounting practices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Support business initiatives, transformation projects, and finance-related programs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Identify and propose process improvement opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Support the transition of Controllership Operations for assigned entities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Handle ad-hoc requests from internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Be flexible with shift timings as per the business model.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Education<\/strong><\/h5>\n

      • \n

        MBA in Finance OR<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance\/Accounting<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n

        • \n

          Minimum 3+ years of overall finance experience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        • \n

          Strong technical and system expertise in accounting tools and reporting platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Knowledge & Skills<\/strong><\/h4>\n
          Critical<\/strong><\/h5>\n

          • \n

            Hands-on experience with SAP (GL, AR, AP, MM, FA) and data analytics tools.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Experience with Hyperion or similar consolidation\/reporting platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Strong understanding of US GAAP and\/or other GAAP frameworks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Deep knowledge of R2R concepts, best practices, and process excellence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Strong analytical and technical aptitude.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Banking domain expertise is an added advantage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          • \n

            Flexibility to work in different shift timings.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Experience managing full close cycles for multinational organizations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
