Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Accounting Specialist to manage end-to-end general accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and continuous process improvements. The role requires strong technical expertise in SAP, R2R processes, US GAAP, and financial analysis.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Commerce\/Finance\/Accounting (B.Com, BBA Finance, BBM or equivalent). A Master\u2019s degree (M.Com\/MBA Finance) or professional certification (CA Inter, CMA Inter, ACCA) is preferred.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/h4>\n

As a Sr. Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and compliant financial results while supporting key accounting processes across the organization. This role requires a solid educational foundation in accounting\/finance, supported by strong hands-on experience with financial systems and reporting standards.<\/p>\n

General Accounting & R2R<\/strong><\/h5>\n

  • \n

    Perform and oversee general accounting activities with strong conceptual understanding of Record to Report (R2R).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Lead month-close activities and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Prepare month-end journal entries, including revaluations, accruals, reclassifications, and recurring entries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Deliver high-quality account reconciliations with no outstanding or unexplained items.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Coordinate accounting methods and recommend improvements in departmental procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Period Close Activities<\/strong><\/h5>\n

    • \n

      Handle VAT clearing, accrual postings, payroll postings, reconciliations, and other close activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Utilize SAP modules (GL, AR\/AP, MM, FA) for accounting tasks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Work on consolidation and reporting platforms such as Hyperion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Use tools like Power BI, RPA or other analytics platforms for automation and insights.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Business Partnership & Process Improvement<\/strong><\/h5>\n

      • \n

        Build strong relationships with finance and business stakeholders to deliver US GAAP\u2013compliant financials.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Provide financial analysis, explanations, and reports using SAP and established GAAP knowledge.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Maintain transparent accounting practices and strong stakeholder communication.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Support finance transformation initiatives, new projects, and transition of controllership activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Identify and propose process improvement opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Manage ad-hoc queries from business, in-country teams, and other internal groups.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Flexibility to work in shifts based on business requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
