The Finance Analyst \u2013 Accounts Payable at ABB plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial transactions within the Accounts Payable (AP) function.<\/p>\n

This role contributes to ABB\u2019s forward-thinking Finance function, supporting business success through integrity, collaboration, and operational excellence.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • \n

    Process accounts payable transactions with accuracy and timeliness, ensuring proper documentation and coding.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Perform daily operational activities within Accounts Payable to support accurate financial reporting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Execute analysis and reporting tasks, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues or discrepancies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure compliance with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) standards for applicable templates.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Participate in internal control testing and prepare required documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Verify invoices to ensure compliance with fiscal and internal control requirements.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to relevant stakeholders to maintain transparency and efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support process improvement initiatives and maintain a high level of accuracy in all assigned activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      0\u20132 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance operations (fresh postgraduates are welcome to apply).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      SAP knowledge in the Accounts Payable domain is an added advantage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong analytical and communication skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
