Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager \u2013 Record to Report (R2R). This role requires a strong subject matter expert (SME) with extensive accounting experience and the ability to manage teams of 10\u201315 members. The candidate will oversee end-to-end accounting, reconciliation, month-end close, and audit compliance processes.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • \n

    Lead and manage Record to Report operations with a team of 10\u201315 professionals.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Oversee month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and SLA adherence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Coordinate audit requirements and ensure timely submission of evidence and deliverables.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Drive process improvements and support standardization initiatives across functions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      MBA in Finance (B.Com degree holders are also eligible).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      5\u20138 years of relevant experience in Record to Report, General Ledger, or Accounting operations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        CA Inter qualification preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems such as JDE or SAP.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
