Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Cognizant is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Senior Process Executive (SPE) \u2013 Accounts Receivable to join our finance operations team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across financial operations.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle, including customer billing, cash application, and collections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Monitor and analyze aged receivables, driving timely resolution of outstanding invoices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Prepare and review AR reports, dashboards, and financial summaries.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Sales, Operations) to resolve payment and billing issues.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Minimum 3\u20135 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related financial processes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong knowledge of invoicing, collections, and reconciliation practices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • \n

        Experience in a BPO or multinational organization.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Knowledge of financial reporting and process automation tools.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Exposure to global AR processes or client-based account management.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
