Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Accounts Receivable Associate will develop a complete understanding of the SAP Accounts Receivable module and its relation to other accounting functions and certification processes. This role is responsible for maintaining a client-service-oriented environment, ensuring timely payments, reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and keeping balances within the organization\u2019s target range.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • \n

    Prepare and maintain management reports highlighting overdue customer balances to support effective collection efforts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Proactively contact delinquent customers via phone, email, or fax to request prompt payment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Handle customer and internal inquiries regarding account balances, address changes, payment applications, and corrections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Investigate and resolve disputed accounts in collaboration with internal teams.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Follow up proactively on payment commitments, inquiries, corrective actions, and dispute resolutions to ensure timely cash flow.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Minimum of a High School Diploma.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      1 year of formal training in Accounting plus at least 2 years of business experience in an accounting\/finance environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Basic understanding of accounting principles with working knowledge of accounting information systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Familiarity with ERP systems in an accounting environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficient in Windows and general PC applications.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Self-motivated, client-service oriented, and comfortable working independently while meeting performance commitments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
