Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Finance Specialist \u2013 General Accounting (GA) with expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Record to Report (R2R) processes. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, supporting book closing processes, and addressing ad hoc requests such as monitoring ServiceNow and Blackline tasks. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and hands-on experience with SAP S4\/Hana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Perform general accounting activities, applying established standards for financial transaction recording.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage GL accounting requests and support monthly\/quarterly book closing activities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Handle ServiceNow and Blackline tasks efficiently.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Conduct variance analysis and execute quality checks on financial reporting data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Assist in developing and optimizing financial processes to drive efficiency and productivity.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Perform reconciliations and related activities (Trintech, Blackline, ServiceNow).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support data gathering and basic financial analysis to ensure accuracy of R2R reporting (HFM\/Tagetik).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Execute assigned accounting analyses and reports.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure compliance with Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICoFR), including testing and documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Maintain adherence to internal and external accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Uphold Hitachi Energy\u2019s values of safety, integrity, and accountability in all tasks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Semi-qualified CA, B.Com, or MBA in Finance\/Accounting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      1\u20133 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, GL, or R2R.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong analytical skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and discipline.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Excellent communication skills and sound knowledge of finance\/accounting practices.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in SAP S4\/Hana preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Fluency in spoken and written English.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
