Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are seeking a Finance Analyst to support our Finance function in a fast-paced, multi-brand retail environment. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and provides financial insights to support strategic decision-making at Gap Inc.\u2019s headquarters.<\/p>\n

The role involves financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis, with exposure to key stakeholders across business units and executive leadership.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reports to Gap Inc. management in a timely manner.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support the financial close process, internal\/external reporting, and analysis for key stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Provide financial support and analysis to internal groups such as Corporate Real Estate, Store Development, Real Estate Finance, FP&A, and Internal Audit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior year expenses, while proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Participate in special projects and assignments of diverse scope.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Strong understanding of financial statements, balance sheets, general ledgers, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and the financial close process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      High level of accountability, ownership, and motivation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (with strong Excel skills required).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Experience Required<\/strong><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • \n

        2\u20134 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis, or a related role.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Experience in retail, corporate finance, or multi-brand environments preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
