Position Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Halliburton is seeking an Accountant \u2013 Accounts Payable to join its Finance team in Bengaluru. This entry-level role provides exposure to general accounting, financial analysis, internal controls, and reporting. You will gain hands-on experience with accounting processes while contributing to one of the world\u2019s largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n

  • \n

    Understand company business systems, processes, policies, and controls within the assigned department.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Prepare accounting reports and analyses, using spreadsheets or applications, and resolve accounting issues.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Record and process journal vouchers for accounting transactions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Research and resolve basic accounting issues while ensuring compliance with internal controls.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support moderately complex aspects of general accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, and internal controls.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Contribute to financial applications and develop industry-specific accounting proficiency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills & Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Minimum of 9 months of experience in accounting-related roles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Knowledge of US GAAP or relevant country-specific accounting principles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
