The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles and experience managing financial operations in a service-based or design-related industry. This role is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the broader team with timely and insightful financial data.<\/p>\n<h4 data-start=\"668\" data-end=\"697\"><strong data-start=\"672\" data-end=\"697\">Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"1465\">\n<li data-start=\"699\" data-end=\"844\">\n<p data-start=\"701\" data-end=\"844\">Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"906\">\n<p data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"906\">Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"987\">\n<p data-start=\"909\" data-end=\"987\">Monitor project budgets and assist project managers with financial tracking.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"988\" data-end=\"1060\">\n<p data-start=\"990\" data-end=\"1060\">Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1109\">\n<p data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1109\">Prepare and file tax returns, including GST.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1110\" data-end=\"1182\">\n<p data-start=\"1112\" data-end=\"1182\">Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1183\" data-end=\"1258\">\n<p data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1258\">Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1259\" data-end=\"1317\">\n<p data-start=\"1261\" data-end=\"1317\">Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1318\" data-end=\"1384\">\n<p data-start=\"1320\" data-end=\"1384\">Handle client invoicing and follow up on outstanding payments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1465\">\n<p data-start=\"1387\" data-end=\"1465\">Assist with expense tracking, staff reimbursements, and petty cash management.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1504\"><strong data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1504\">Qualifications & Skills:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"2098\">\n<li data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"1571\">\n<p data-start=\"1508\" data-end=\"1571\">Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1675\">\n<p data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1675\">Minimum 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a service-based or design-related industry.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"1746\">\n<p data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1746\">Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1747\" data-end=\"1830\">\n<p data-start=\"1749\" data-end=\"1830\">Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, or similar).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1831\" data-end=\"1896\">\n<p data-start=\"1833\" data-end=\"1896\">Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1897\" data-end=\"1947\">\n<p data-start=\"1899\" data-end=\"1947\">Familiarity with project accounting is a plus.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1948\" data-end=\"2008\">\n<p data-start=\"1950\" data-end=\"2008\">Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2009\" data-end=\"2098\">\n<p data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2098\">Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-financial team
