Job Description<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are looking for an Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our business. The role involves handling accounting transactions in line with GAAP and IFRS, managing reconciliations, overseeing accounts receivable, and ensuring timely financial reporting.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Record daily sales invoices in Zoho Books.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Reconcile bank statements and verify OTA payments daily.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage e-commerce settlements and reconcile related clearing accounts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS (including IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IAS 16).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Record monthly expenses, accruals, provisions, and OTA commissions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Perform related party reconciliations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Oversee accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Manage month-end closing and prepare financial reports.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support internal and external audits.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Perform ad-hoc finance tasks as required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting or Finance (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA preferred).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      1\u20133 years of relevant accounting experience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Experience in hospitality industry and handling OTA payouts is an advantage.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Knowledge of UAE tax regulations and international accounting standards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in Zoho Books or similar accounting systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong Excel skills and ability to work with reconciliations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Excellent written and spoken English.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
