Position Overview:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant<\/strong> to join our finance team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles and hands-on experience in financial operations within a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) or the financial services sector. The Accountant<\/strong> will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate records, and supporting month-end processes.<\/p>\n

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and capable of handling multiple priorities with precision. You\u2019ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting across business functions.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • \n

    Record and process journal entries, vendor invoices, and customer receipts with appropriate general ledger (GL) codes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Perform daily cash book maintenance and reconcile bank statements regularly.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Track and record disbursements, repayments, and interest income related to the loan portfolio.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Assist in reconciliation of loan-related data between core lending systems and actual bank transactions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Support the preparation of regulatory filings for the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Maintain proper documentation to support tax filings and compliance audits.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes including accruals, adjustments, and provisions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Coordinate with internal teams to collect data inputs for Management Information System (MIS) reporting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Maintain organized and audit-ready records of all financial transactions for statutory and internal audits.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Skills Required:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • \n

      Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Commerce (B.Com \/ M.Com)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      CA Inter or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant preferred<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      1\u20133 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in NBFCs or financial institutions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proficiency in Tally<\/strong> for daily accounting operations<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Solid working knowledge of MS Excel<\/strong> (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, taxation (TDS, GST), and reconciliation procedures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Preferred Experience:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

        Prior experience in a lending company or NBFC setup<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Familiarity with RBI regulatory requirements and NBFC-specific accounting practices<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Exposure to audit preparation and financial reporting within regulated environments<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      • \n

        Experience in reconciling financial statements and generating MIS reports<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
