Position Overview:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Atlan is seeking a skilled and proactive Compliance Associate<\/strong> to join our fast-growing finance and legal operations team. In this role, you\u2019ll be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple global jurisdictions, including India, Singapore, and the United States. You\u2019ll work on everything from tax filings and statutory audits to implementing robust internal policies, making you a key player in Atlan\u2019s mission to maintain the highest standards of integrity and governance.<\/p>\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with a strong understanding of local and international tax laws, company secretarial practices, and regulatory frameworks to thrive in a dynamic SaaS environment.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and secretarial regulations in India, Singapore, and the US.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare, review, and file corporate income tax returns, GST\/VAT filings, and other necessary statutory returns.<\/li>\n
  • Conduct regular reconciliations and ensure timely payment of tax liabilities.<\/li>\n
  • Handle communications with tax authorities and support audits and inquiries with required documentation.<\/li>\n
  • Maintain compliance with transfer pricing regulations and assist in international tax matters.<\/li>\n
  • Support statutory audits with tax and compliance documentation.<\/li>\n
  • Monitor updates in global and local regulatory laws and update internal compliance protocols accordingly.<\/li>\n
  • Develop and maintain internal compliance frameworks, policies, and reporting structures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Required Skills:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • In-depth understanding of Indian taxation laws including GST, TDS, and income tax.<\/li>\n
    • Knowledge of US and Singapore tax and corporate compliance requirements.<\/li>\n
    • Familiarity with international tax principles, including transfer pricing and sales\/use tax.<\/li>\n
    • Ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.<\/li>\n
    • Strong communication and documentation skills.<\/li>\n
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Company Secretary (CS) qualification is mandatory.<\/li>\n
      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax advisory, compliance, or corporate secretarial roles.<\/li>\n
      • Experience with global statutory filings and managing compliance in a SaaS, IT, or professional services firm is preferred.<\/li>\n
      • Experience in handling statutory audits and tax-related matters with Big 4 firms or similar organizations is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
