This role involves performing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. The Accountant will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations while supporting the finance team in various financial and reporting tasks.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain the general ledger by preparing accurate journal entries, performing account analysis, and ensuring proper classification of transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and develop financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and income statements, to provide valuable insights for management decision-making.<\/li>\n<li>Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are accurate, and resolve any discrepancies promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Review and analyze inter-company transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and timely resolution of any issues.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all journal entries and financial data meet internal and external audit specifications, and provide necessary documentation during audits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Skills:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong ability to ensure accuracy and precision in journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of accounting and reporting Standards (e.g., Ind AS\/ US GAAP) and ability to assimilate, interpret and apply the standards\/concepts in real-life scenarios.<\/li>\n<li>Efficient in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines, especially during month-end and year-end close.<\/li>\n<li>Clear and effective communication with both internal teams and external auditors to ensure smooth financial reporting and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Sound working knowledge of Standard Costing fundamentals, Supply Chain, and manufacturing accounting concepts.<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical skills and experience using MS Office<\/li>\n<li>Reasonably good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience (Excluding Articleship period in case of CA)<\/li>\n<li>Preferred qualification: Chartered Accountant \/ Cost Accountant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are
