This entry-level role offers opportunities to develop financial expertise while contributing to the efficiency of the organization\u2019s accounting and reporting processes.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and timely payment.<\/li>\n<li>Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, daily cash flow and reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness.<\/li>\n<li>Perform bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing supporting schedules and analyses.<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and organized accounting records, both physical and electronic. Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information and efficient processes.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stay up-to-date on current accounting regulations and best practices, particularly IFRS.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a strong control environment by adhering to internal policies and procedures. Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the general ledger Support month-end and year-end closing processes Assist in payroll preparation and tax filings<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations Perform other related duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Skills:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting or Finance required.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Experience with other GAAP is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the financial services industry, particularly online trading or brokerage, is a significant advantage.
