This individual will be heavily involved in the monthly financial statement close\u00a0process,\u00a0procurement,\u00a0travel and expense management, annual audits (both\u00a0U.S. and international statutory audits), and\u00a0company adherence to\u00a0accounting policies, procedures, and controls.\u00a0\u00a0The role\u00a0is cross-functional and\u00a0will have significant interaction with other\u00a0departments like Legal, Human Resources, and FP&amp;A. The role will be flexible, which is\u00a0indicative of the entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit of Quickbase where you interact with cross-functional teams across the organization.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation and posting of monthly journal entries to NetSuite GL and monthly balance sheet reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Assist with daily cash reporting, monthly journal entries and bank reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intangible assets and depreciation\/amortization schedules<\/li>\n<li>Assist with monthly close process,\u00a0including financial analysis and financial reporting. Provide commentary on balance sheet and P&amp;L fluxes as to activity that occurred during the period<\/li>\n<li>Support annual audits with external auditors\u00a0both domestic and international<\/li>\n<li>Assist with design and maintenance of company policies, procedures and controls<\/li>\n<li>Ad hoc projects as required by the\u00a0Assistant Controller\u00a0and\/or\u00a0Corporate\u00a0Controller<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Skills:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication skills and desire to work cross-functionally to achieve common goals<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, timely work product<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Excel<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheets, and maintaining fixed asset schedules using systems like NetSuite.<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to analyze financial statements (P&amp;L, Balance Sheet), explain variances, and provide insights on period-over-period changes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting domestic and international audits, with knowledge of internal controls, policy implementation, and compliance requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree in Accounting required.
