Accountant"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Position Overview:<\/h4>\n<p>Amazon\u2019s Finance Operations, Accounting & Analysis (FOAA) team is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our accounting team.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform month-end closing activities, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations and balance sheet analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Support management in all aspects of financial accounting, reporting systems, policies, and procedures while ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, including system and workflow optimizations within the department.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong financial controls and procedures, ensuring compliance with US GAAP (if applicable) and other relevant accounting standards.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize advanced Excel, SQL, and ERP systems (Oracle\/SAP) to analyze financial data, generate reports, and support decision-making processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Skills:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting standards (US GAAP preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze financial data, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and identify trends or discrepancies.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, and experience with ERP systems like Oracle or SAP for financial data management.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of operational excellence, Lean\/Six Sigma methodologies, and a proactive approach to optimizing financial processes.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial insights effectively.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be a Certified Accountant (CA) with up to 0-4 years of post-qualification experience.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience in month-end closing, working with sub-ledgers, accounting principles, and balance sheet reconciliation & reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of standard financial software, including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in budgeting, planning, forecasting, and financial reporting, with the ability to use data-driven insights for business
