The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and entrepreneurial. Should be capable of handling responsibilities related to direct and indirect tax compliance activities of Indian companies.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing working papers for filing WHT returns and GST returns.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Technical knowledge of tax filings and ensuring the filings ( monthly, quarterly, and yearly) are done before deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Be the point of contact for all tax matters and liaise with Tax vendors and the Internal Tax team.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Bookkeeping as per the Indian accounting standards<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Tracking\/escalating the issues or concerns regarding entries posted by the Global Business Service Center (GBSC) and ensuring smooth month-end close activities.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Tracking of sub payer GST matters like ensuring the invoices are reflecting in 2A (GST portal), follow up with the sub payer for correct invoices thereby enhancing the tax credit utilization.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Assistance in the preparation of required files for statutory audit purposes.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Perform ad-hoc activities as required, such as setting up trackers, depreciation computation, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Skills:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of Withholding Tax (WHT), GST, and other tax regulations, ensuring timely and accurate filings (monthly, quarterly, yearly).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain books as per Ind AS, track transactions, and reconcile accounts effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Skills in tracking, verifying, and escalating discrepancies, primarily related to GST input credits (GSTR-2A) and month-end close activities.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in preparing and maintaining working papers, statutory audit files, and tax reports to support audits and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to liaise with tax vendors, internal teams, and regulatory authorities, ensuring smooth tax operations and resolving discrepancies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting or Finance or CA intern or CA Article ship<\/li>\n<li>Prior relevant experience in the field of GST and WHT filings.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Good knowledge of accounting concepts, especially regarding tax entries and entries required by statutes.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
