Position Overview:<\/h4>\n

The Senior Tax Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing tax compliance, planning, and reporting activities. This role ensures adherence to tax regulations, identifies opportunities for tax optimization, and supports audits and assessments. The position involves collaboration with internal teams and external advisors to minimize tax risks and enhance overall tax efficiency.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n

  • Compute VAT, WHT, and CIT provisions and prepare accurate tax returns.<\/li>\n
  • Manage tax data, ensuring accuracy, hygiene, and compliance with Unilever\u2019s control framework.<\/li>\n
  • Analyze tax data, identify discrepancies, and support audits with documentation and analysis.<\/li>\n
  • Ensure timely tax payments and compliance with local and global tax regulations.<\/li>\n
  • Collaborate with global tax teams and service providers to stay updated on tax law changes.<\/li>\n
  • Drive process improvements and implement tools for enhanced tax efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Skills:<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Strong Knowledge of accounting<\/li>\n
    • Overview of Direct Tax\/Indirect Tax\/Withholding Tax\/ Transfer Pricing<\/li>\n
    • End user knowledge of SAP (FI module).<\/li>\n
    • Awareness about Power BI, Tableau and Workflow management tools would be an added advantage.<\/li>\n
    • Proficient at collecting\/querying\/consolidating information from accounting\/ERP systems.<\/li>\n
    • Good in verbal and written communication.<\/li>\n
    • Should have a positive attitude and should be able to get things done proactively.<\/li>\n
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Qualified Accountant (CA\/CMA) with 2-3 years of experience<\/li>\n
      • Work experience in Accounting (R2R) and Finance or Direct Tax\/Indirect Tax<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
