This is a full-time, remote position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial oversight of a growing tech company while enjoying the flexibility of working from home.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct internal and external audits, ensuring all financial activities align with US GAAP standards.<\/li>\n<li>Review and analyze financial statements, reports, and balance sheets for accuracy and adherence to GAAP.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all financial practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and assess areas of financial risk to the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend and implement improvements to internal control systems to prevent errors and fraud.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation for review by management and external auditors.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate any discrepancies or irregularities in financial records.<\/li>\n<li>Suggest enhancements to financial processes and audit methodologies for greater efficiency and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Educate staff on accounting policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Skills:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficient in applying US GAAP standards to financial activities and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in conducting comprehensive internal and external audits.<\/li>\n<li>Experienced in identifying and mitigating financial risks.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of regulatory requirements at local, state, and federal levels.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to enhance financial processes and internal controls for improved accuracy and efficiency.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience as a Financial Auditor with a deep understanding of US GAAP.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in audit-related software tools and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
