Position Overview:<\/h4>\n

An accountant manages and analyzes financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient financial operations. They prepare financial statements, handle tax filings, and provide insights for budgeting and decision-making. Accountants play a key role in maintaining an organization\u2019s financial health and ensuring adherence to regulations.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n
    \n
  • Prepare and send customer invoices\/billings;<\/li>\n
  • Reconcile accounts receivable weekly and ensure that receivables are collected promptly;<\/li>\n
  • Ensure that cash and credit card transactions are accurately recorded and explained;<\/li>\n
  • Ensure the timely entry, approval, and payments of vendor invoices;<\/li>\n
  • Help manage the employee travel and expense program, policy, and reimbursements;<\/li>\n
  • Assist with the month end close process, preparing journal entries, reclasses & adjustments;<\/li>\n
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, intercompany, prepaid, accrual, fixed assets & other accounts;<\/li>\n
  • Assist with the monthly consolidated financial, management and regulatory reporting;<\/li>\n
  • Prepare analytics to aid in evaluating business activity, including trend & variance analyses;<\/li>\n
  • Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax returns;<\/li>\n
  • Support any financial and\/or regulatory audits and respond to auditor requests as necessary;<\/li>\n
  • Continuously promote process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness; and<\/li>\n
  • Assist with special projects or perform additional duties as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n

    Skills:<\/h4>\n
      \n
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and must have an advanced knowledge of Excel;<\/li>\n
    • Experience with multiple legal entity operations and intercompany transactions preferred;<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of accounting systems \u2013 Experience working with QuickBooks is a strong plus;<\/li>\n
    • Should be well versed with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), concepts and practices; and<\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented and independent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Qualifications:<\/h4>\n
        \n
      • Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Accounting required, advanced degree is a plus;<\/li>\n
      • Minimum of 1-2 years of accounting experience;<\/li>\n
      • Experience with a Big 4 firm preferred, but not required; and<\/li>\n
      • CPA\/Inter CA or similar is a plus, but not required\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
