This position focuses on improving the quality of Record-to-Report (RTR) processes executed within the Shared Services Center (SSC) in Chennai. You will be responsible for facilitating seamless, high-quality month-end closing activities while ensuring the delivery of exceptional RTR services. Your expertise and commitment to operational excellence will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the organization&#8217;s financial operations.<\/p>\n<h4>Responsibilities:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage a comprehensive range of RtR accounting activities in daily operations.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the high-quality and timely delivery of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the supported group companies.<\/li>\n<li>Support the implementation of central requirements for accounting, reporting and quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Support on the preparation of the financial statement (balance sheet \/ P&amp;L and notes) according to IFRS.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct and improve internal controls.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze and enhance work processes, developing optimization measures to improve efficiency and interface management.<\/li>\n<li>Drive and participate in professional projects, including digitization and automation initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve intercompany discrepancies within a large corporate group.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting activities in fixed asset accounting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Skills:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You should have excellent English skills in both spoken and written form.<\/li>\n<li>You should demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, commitment, and resilience, coupled with customer orientation and reliability.<\/li>\n<li>You should be deadline-driven and can effectively identify, analyze, and solve complex problems.<\/li>\n<li>You should be an effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualifications:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>You have studied business administration with a focus on accounting or have become a certified accountant.<\/li>\n<li>You have 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting including closing activities.<\/li>\n<li>You have experience in accounting according to IFRS and good ERP knowledge (preferably SAP S\/4HANA), along with good Excel skills and a high IT affinity.<\/li>\n<li>Graduate\/Postgraduate in Accounting and Commerce with First Division or Qualified Accountant or Inter CA \/ Studying towards (ACCA\/CIMA\/ACA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DHL Group is an equal-opportunity employer.
