PACCAR India is offering a fantastic fulltime opportunity to join there accounting team as a General Accountant. This position will report to the PACCAR India Director-General Accounting and be responsible for the accounting and forecasting for PACCAR India.<\/div>\n

Responsibilities\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • This person will be responsible for accounting and analysis:<\/li>\n
  • Developing contacts and working closely with PACCAR divisions across the U.S. including Human Resources, Accounting and Benefits.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare monthly financial forecast.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare and Record Intercompany Invoices with PACCAR divisions.<\/li>\n
  • Review Receivables statements in accordance with established frequency and identify discrepancies, ensuring aged items are addressed timely.<\/li>\n
  • Ensuring accuracy of timecard data used for invoicing.<\/li>\n
  • Identify and implement process improvements.<\/li>\n
  • Generate E-invoices as per the GST timelines.<\/li>\n
  • Obtaining information from PACCAR division\/other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date.<\/li>\n
  • Support annual budgeting process.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in Internal Control reviews, SOX testing and various special projects and ad hoc reports as assigned.<\/li>\n
  • Compile and analyze overhead spending.<\/li>\n
  • Analyze monthly financial results and prepare management reporting package.<\/li>\n
  • Review margins as per transfer pricing regulations.<\/li>\n
  • Prepare aging analysis to resolve issues\/ discrepancies.<\/li>\n
  • Support local tax such as GST, internal audit, and statutory reporting requirements.<\/li>\n
  • Participate in year-end closing activities, as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Excellent analytical capabilities and attention to detail with a \u201cbig picture\u201d focus<\/li>\n

    • Must be a self-starter, able to meet deadlines and work as part of a team<\/li>\n
    • Ability to work under pressure with deadlines<\/li>\n
    • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects.<\/li>\n
    • Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
    • Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills<\/li>\n
    • Requires strong PC skills with Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint<\/li>\n
    • Understanding of IGAAP and Internal Controls<\/li>\n
    • Strong command on English language, with good presentation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Education Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      • Bachelor of Commerce<\/li>\n
      • Chartered Accountant (CA)<\/li>\n
