{"id":35808,"date":"2024-03-01T10:06:42","date_gmt":"2024-03-01T10:06:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=35808"},"modified":"2024-03-01T10:06:42","modified_gmt":"2024-03-01T10:06:42","slug":"accounts-officer-4","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=accounts-officer-4","title":{"rendered":"Accounts Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Process day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.<\/li>\n<li>Handle Petty cash floats and proper bookkeeping of reimbursed expenses.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile financial discrepancies and investigate any variances or issues to ensure accurate financial reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and clearing from SAP.<\/li>\n<li>Process policyholder and vendor payments through effective usage of the SAP system.<\/li>\n<li>Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing financial data, analyzing trends, and preparing reports.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of audit documentation and provide support during internal and external audits.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Purchasing, Sales, and Operations, to resolve financial-related queries and provide support as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake a range of clerical, administrative, and other duties as required to support the team.<\/li>\n<li>Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills:<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum three years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role. Experience with computerized accounting systems is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
