{"id":35539,"date":"2024-02-19T12:15:33","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T12:15:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=35539"},"modified":"2024-02-26T09:49:52","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T09:49:52","slug":"tax-analyst-14","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=tax-analyst-14","title":{"rendered":"Tax Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle month-end close processes by ensuring proper recording of tax payable\/refundable, reconciling tax filing returns to financial records, and analyzing fluctuation in tax accounts;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with various Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls and local GAAP reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collate the information \/ documents for the purpose of tax computation, filing of periodic returns and refunds, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support and work with local tax advisors to ensure all direct and indirect tax compliance are met per regulations;<\/li>\n<li>Provide support and work with local tax advisors in relation to the timely and correct responses to notices\/queries\/requests received from the Tax Authority;<\/li>\n<li>Work with internal and statutory \/ tax auditors and timely update of filing status in the tax calendar;<\/li>\n<li>Organize tax payments to be made timely per deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Quarterly review of direct and indirect tax exposure, make accrual for exposure identified;<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Accounts payable\/Accounts receivable\/General Ledger team to ensure tax entries are recorded correctly upon transaction posting in the ERP system;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in tax code set up in ERP system;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the Tax Department\u2019s process improvement activities;<\/li>\n<li>Create Purchase Requests for tax fees in the ERP system to facilitate payment to service providers;<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Tax Manager on any ad-hoc tax assignments or tasks;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conversation with MS Office is a must.
