{"id":35526,"date":"2024-02-19T08:58:10","date_gmt":"2024-02-19T08:58:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=35526"},"modified":"2024-02-21T08:16:32","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T08:16:32","slug":"financial-analyst-32","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=financial-analyst-32","title":{"rendered":"Financial Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Managing annual\/continual financial planning activities for product areas, providing business rationale and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting, conducting reviews and analysis on product financial performance, consumption\/demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reports<\/li>\n<li>Efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy \u2013 including, but not limited to \u2013 location strategy, span of control, reporting, and analytics<\/li>\n<li>Creating financial business cases supporting business initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Reporting on and monitoring key metrics, driving data quality initiatives across the product area, and helping define future needs of the product area<\/li>\n<li>Developing and tracking performance metrics, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management<\/li>\n<li>Performing variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and presenting commentary to senior managers, explaining changes from prior forecasts\/budgets<\/li>\n<li>Helping design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management. Enhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a subject of a technical nature<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of work experience, preferably in Financial Services and\/or accounting\/controller background<\/li>\n<li>Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in creating Alteryx workflows is a must<\/li>\n<li>Experience in creating Tableau dashboards and Python is a plus. Proficiency with data mining\/gathering and manipulation of data sets<\/li>\n<li>Curious, enthusiastic, diligent, and capable of challenging peers. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly<\/li>\n<li>Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management.
