{"id":35140,"date":"2024-02-05T11:19:48","date_gmt":"2024-02-05T11:19:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=35140"},"modified":"2024-02-21T08:26:17","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T08:26:17","slug":"finance-analyst-16","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=finance-analyst-16","title":{"rendered":"Finance Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly book closure of group entities<\/li>\n<li>Organising statutory audits<\/li>\n<li>Timely communication of outstanding items\/issues with country teams\/central team\/third party service provider and PwC<\/li>\n<li>Maintain cooperative and influential relationship with the business partners<\/li>\n<li>Progress monitoring (audit+ filing cycle) and drive to make sure targets are met<\/li>\n<li>Group audit reporting<\/li>\n<li>Preparing Statutory reconciliation (IFRS to Statutory)<\/li>\n<li>Provide support in the preparation of the Financial Statement and Notes to the FS<\/li>\n<li>Being an intermediary person between external advisers and local GFSSC teams<\/li>\n<li>Carry out checks before the audits, eg: reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing journal back-ups, etc<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of the audit deliverables based on external and Internal review team \u2018s audit requirements (PBC- preparation By Client)<\/li>\n<li>Participate in other activities, such as entity rationalisation project (prepare step plan) or preparation of different slide packs for the Audit and Risk Committee Board<\/li>\n<li>As a team player you will be supporting to the Finance manager while preparing statutory accounts and monthly management accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of briefing document for directors\/ stakeholders explaining about the company, what happened during the year, YOY analysis, material concerns etc.<\/li>\n<li>Independent review of Stat to corporate reconciliation of all BT Entities.<\/li>\n<li>Review and validation of material deviation in the re-conciliation and documenting it for further review.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CA (Qualified Accountant) &#8211; Ideally with an Audit training background from practice (big 4 or medium sized firm), with professional experience- ideally 3-5 years, preferably qualified accountant or Semi-qualified or relevant audit experience<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of Auditing Standards (IFRS) and willingness to maintain and enhance your technical knowledge is required.
