{"id":35019,"date":"2024-02-01T09:41:20","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T09:41:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=35019"},"modified":"2024-02-20T11:38:48","modified_gmt":"2024-02-20T11:38:48","slug":"accounting-operations-analyst-2","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=accounting-operations-analyst-2","title":{"rendered":"Accounting Operations Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Reconcile monthly suspense account and balance sheet accounts and ensure accounts are clean with justifiable balances;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of month-end quarter-end and year-end reporting for areas of responsibility including delivering explanations on all balances and ensure follow up on outstanding balances taking corrective action in the following month;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the preparation of calculating financial ratios and maintaining historical records of ratios;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing the interpretation of data for the purpose of determining past financial performance;<\/li>\n<li>Prepare information required for external audit and internal audit as directed;<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the completion of filing of local financial statements VAT and corporate income tax and other compliance activities;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure information provided is in compliance with group accounting policies and procedures internal control guidelines and Business Process Blueprints;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure customer service levels are delivered as per Service Level Agreements;<\/li>\n<li>Complete activities relating to process improvements and departmental project initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience and <\/strong><strong>Qualifications:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Accounting and Finance<\/li>\n<li>Newly qualified professional (e.g. Certified Public Accountant Association of Chartered Accountants Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Chartered Institute of Management Accountants )<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years work experience in an accounting environment, preferably within in a medium to large international company;<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in audit activities is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical capabilities;<\/li>\n<li>Comprehension of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus;<\/li>\n<li>Good working knowledge of local GAAP for the area of responsibility is a prerequisite;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task to stand up to pressure and meet tight deadlines;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate unfailing business ethics ability to use sound judgement discretion and professional integrity;<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external customers at all level;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in spoken and written English;
