{"id":34873,"date":"2024-01-25T11:07:50","date_gmt":"2024-01-25T11:07:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=34873"},"modified":"2024-02-21T08:44:57","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T08:44:57","slug":"finance-specialist-4","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=finance-specialist-4","title":{"rendered":"Finance Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be able to interpret complex contract terms<\/li>\n<li>Able to unpack deal model and enter deal model data into financial tools and tie deal model info back to signed contracts<\/li>\n<li>Create calc tools\/forecast files based on client contracts<\/li>\n<li>Maintain SLA Calculations<\/li>\n<li>Aid in contract renewal discussions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read complex contracts and understand the financial terms and schedules<\/li>\n<li>Forecasting and Annual Budgeting<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for developing & implementing monthly baseline operating plan at the beginning of each year (Detailed Bottoms-up Plan))<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for executing forecasting process on a monthly basis for revenue and estimated Variable Margins.<\/li>\n<li>Manage forecasts for Contract Terms (not just individual fiscal years) and meet all quarterly forecast and annual Plan deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Budget\/Forecast revenue & costs for specified P&L through use of metrics, historical trending reviews, and close working relationships with business partners<\/li>\n<li>Review P&L, understand all activity and provide driver and account based variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Organize and lead monthly financial reviews with business partners and internal financial leadership<\/li>\n<li>Financial risk & opportunity tracking and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Supervise creation and correct set up of all necessary financial tools and templates<\/li>\n<li>Create and update pricing models as needed<\/li>\n<li>Processing needed journal entries (re-classes & accruals)<\/li>\n<li>Ad-hoc financial support<\/li>\n<li>Month End Process<\/li>\n<li>Manage month end close, working closely with revenue assurance group as needed, tasks include but not limited to:<\/li>\n<li>Validate Revenue is submitted accurately<\/li>\n<li>Variance Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Expense Accruals<\/li>\n<li>Topside Entries<\/li>\n<li>Project forecast updates for R&Os<\/li>\n<li>Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Able to use Workday & Adaptive Insight to create and maintain P&L reports for Client\/BU Lead review<\/li>\n<li>Ad hoc P&L reporting as needed<\/li>\n<li>Present financial data to the Business<\/li>\n<li>Pricing<\/li>\n<li>Create Pricing modeler for each client team<\/li>\n<li>Validate pricing meets DoA<\/li>\n<li>Aid in additional Pricing requests as needed (for items not related to Deal Team pricing)<\/li>\n<li>Able to provide detailed, concise analysis on client P&Ls, reporting, and pricing to guide client teams and Client execs on driving improved margins<\/li>\n<li>Analyst in this position is highly independent and requires only minimal supervision.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of finance experience working in a financial analyst role<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Project accounting, Corporate FP&A analysis<\/li>\n<li>Strong business acumen, e.g. ability to interpret, evaluate and apply financial data\/information to business decisions<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in financial analysis and financial models<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate good critical thinking and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Must have a basic understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to consult effectively with senior level managers and clients on various financial issues, while<\/li>\n<li>Experience with financial systems.
