{"id":32586,"date":"2023-11-15T12:10:04","date_gmt":"2023-11-15T12:10:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=32586"},"modified":"2024-02-21T09:15:30","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T09:15:30","slug":"lead-analyst-accounting","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=lead-analyst-accounting","title":{"rendered":"Lead Analyst &#8211; Accounting"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Compliance reporting for various entities as per requirements of the law including GAAP & SAP<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports and perform variance analysis of financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and perform tasks related to preparation of schedules related to financial statements.<\/li>\n<li>Processing and posting of journal entries for all kinds of financial transactions.<\/li>\n<li>General ledgers as well as Balance sheet account verification \/ Analysis & reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Recording and maintaining various processes related to GL & month \/ Year-end closing activities.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare reports under various laws to help with government filings.<\/li>\n<li>Update transactions details in database \/ applications<\/li>\n<li>Take lead is troubleshooting and resolving day to day issues.<\/li>\n<li>Assist and supervise other team members and keep track \/ Control over day-to-day deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Support on any other activities as required by the function.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6-8 years of relevant work experience in Finance\/Accounts function, preferably in an offshore set-up with Commerce graduation\/post-graduation. CA\/ICWA Intermediate is preferred (this is CPA intermediary level)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> Skill set:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Detail oriented, organized, inquisitive, analytical, and independently motivated.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to apply judgment and make decisions in gray areas.<\/li>\n<li>Basic U.S. GAAP\/SAP accounting and reporting knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to learn\/work with reporting tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interact with external auditors and respond to external audit requests (not likely to be an initial role, but a future expectation).<\/li>\n<li>Liaison with business units to collect information for reporting needs.<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Indian Acct.
