{"id":32333,"date":"2023-11-08T11:04:47","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T11:04:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=32333"},"modified":"2024-02-21T09:25:47","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T09:25:47","slug":"financial-analyst-17","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=financial-analyst-17","title":{"rendered":"Financial Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently prepare financial statements as per extensive IFRS statutory reporting requirements on a timely basis against plan.<\/li>\n<li>Independently prepare the Board & other committee reporting packs as per the delivery calendar.<\/li>\n<li>Lead end to end legal entity audit as directed by Delivery Leader \/ Director Legal Entity Reporting (LER), Accounting & Reporting Team and Financial Controller.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare local GAAP to US GAAP reconciliation, reviewing significant adjustments for GAAP differences.<\/li>\n<li>Lead customer calls and provide analysis of reporting information, as directed by Delivery Leader \/ Director LER, Accounting & Reporting Team and Legal Entity Financial Controller to support board of directors meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Manage delivery of multiple markets at a time and perform peer level review or consolidation.<\/li>\n<li>Manage work and provide leadership and support to Band 28\u2019s.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct research as required on GAAP, regulations and laws.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective controls and governance are adhered to.<\/li>\n<li>Research and collaborate with auditors \/ customers to provide explanation \/ resolution of issues and queries.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Workiva Wdesk & HFM implementation for statutory, regulatory and board reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Lead projects involving automation, standardization, etc. among others.<\/li>\n<li>Report to Delivery Leader, LER CoE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Past Experience:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Public Accounting \/ Audit experience \/ Legal Entity Reporting & Control<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years post qualification experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Academic Background:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong preference for Qualified Accountant\/CA\/CPA\/ACCA with relevant experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Functional Skills:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A strong financial accounting \/ reporting background including understanding of regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of IFRS\/ Indian GAAP and reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Change and project management exposure, including transition of reporting work from onshore location.<\/li>\n<li>A fast\/keen learner with the ability to learn a detailed process quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to share technical knowledge and proactively encourage others to do the same.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong technical accounting background and experience in accounting, statutory \/ regulatory reporting or statutory auditing.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of IFRS GAAP and reporting requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of US GAAP and other GAAP is advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge of Platforms:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In depth knowledge of AXP Policies, Procedures and Systems.
