Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure period end close activities are performed according to agreed close schedules and that accounting policies are in compliance with GAAP<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly Blackline reconciliations and Fluxes, ensure the delivery as per decided deadlines<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Act as point of escalation to resolve accounting and reconciliations related issues in a timely manner and ensure all queries are dealt with correctly and efficiently<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Review and analyse the team\u2019s output for appropriate accounting treatment, completeness and accuracy related to general accounting<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Work closely with accounts payable and receivable departments to understand bank transactions and ensure they are processed and accounted for in appropriate categories to reduce open items<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Promote continuous improvement through best practices, and recommend and implement process improvement initiatives to drive efficiencies<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Manage customer relations to ensure all disputes and inquiries are handled and resolved within the terms of the SLA\u2019s<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure for timely update of SOP\u2019s<\/p>\n

Qualifications we seek in you!
\nMinimum Qualifications
\n\u00b7 Knowledge & understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, tax reporting, International Financial Reporting Standards with a minimum of 3+ years\u2019 experience in a similar role preferably in BPM \/ services organization<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Accounting qualification (ACA, CPA, or equivalent) or MBA Finance or M.com<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Demonstrate thorough knowledge of accounting principles, systems and procedures<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proficient in English to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ability to interact with leadership, key stakeholders, employees and clients in a professional manner<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Proficiency in SAP (preferred), MS Excel and Word<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Prior experience in managing teams in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Lean \/ Six sigma exposure, or equivalent, an asset<\/p>\n

Ability to work in the pressure environment<\/p>\n
