{"id":28562,"date":"2023-07-14T10:53:49","date_gmt":"2023-07-14T10:53:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=28562"},"modified":"2024-02-21T08:59:48","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T08:59:48","slug":"us-accounting-analyst","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/staging.spotgiraffe.com\/?job_listing=us-accounting-analyst","title":{"rendered":"US Accounting Analyst"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Learn more at careers.alight.com<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide daily functional support to the teams, to support the successful delivery of General Ledger documents and files.<\/li>\n<li>Performs financial audits, analyses data, reconcile and balance payroll results, payroll postings and GL interface transmittals for all on and off cycle processing\u2019s and adjustment runs.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews all variances through investigation and resolution processes, completes root cause analysis as required, and recommends client intervention procedures and communicates variance.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes\u00a0accounting\u00a0compliance issues and determines financial impacts and risks to Alight\/client financials\/processes.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates appropriate resolutions based on those impacts, including system configuration changes.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support and guidance for all implementations and go lives.<\/li>\n<li>Support Managers with client engagement ensuring all information is accurate and provided on time.<\/li>\n<li>Makes formal recommendations to the client regarding escalated issues and resolves client inquiries based on financial and legal compliance impacts\u00a0 and risks to Alight, Alight\u2019s clients, and funding sources.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes internal processes, methods, and procedures to ensure appropriate audit controls are in place and being followed.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the updating, maintaining, and enforcing of the Defined Work Instructions (DWIs)and other process documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the resolution of Technical\/Functional issues escalated from the team and ensuring all system issues\/defects are reported correctly and tickets are logged with the necessary details and evidence so Application Services and\/or Products can investigate.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to team meetings and raise any issues immediately to your Operations Manager Serves as expert responder to all audit requests ensuring the accurate and timely responses.<\/li>\n<li>Provides reconciliations of payroll related balance sheet accounts to clients as required.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates regularly with various payroll processing teams to resolve escalation issues and to share lessons learned to optimize service delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Communicates with Clients and Vendors to resolve\u00a0Accounting\u00a0and Treasury related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Working with Operational Management and Products to implement automation, innovation, and any continuous improvement programs.<\/li>\n<li>Support Year End.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identify upsell opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Support Management with the resolution of client escalations, along with lessons learnt.<\/li>\n<li>Upskill and develop team members through training delivery and coaching to enable them to fulfil their role.<\/li>\n<li>Build good relationships with all lines of businesses where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in projects and activities as needed and assigned<\/li>\n<li>Alight Security Standards are adhered and followed.<\/li>\n<li>Time Recording to be completed on time and accurately.<\/li>\n<li>Other duties, as assigned by your immediate supervisor and\/or manager.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure you are up to date with all Alight announcements and communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Working with us<br \/>\nBy applying for a position with Alight, you understand that, should you be made an offer, it will be contingent on your undergoing and successfully completing a background check consistent with Alight\u2019s employment policies.
