We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
\nAccountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.
\nResponsibilities for Accountant
\n\u2022 Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget performance
\n\u2022 Ensure compliance with applicable standards (i.e. GAAP, FASB), rules, regulations, and systems of internal control
\n\u2022 Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines
\n\u2022 Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
\n\u2022 Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
\n\u2022 Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests
\n\u2022 Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
\n\u2022 Documenting financial transactions
\n\u2022 Monitoring the efficiency of existing accounting procedures and ensuring they comply with the government regulations
\n\u2022 Reviewing financial documents to resolve any discrepancies and irregularities
\n\u2022 Reconciling already documented reports, statements and various transactions
\n\u2022 Creating, reviewing and presenting budgets
\n\u2022 Recommending financial actions by analysing accounting options
\n\u2022 Cooperating with auditors in preparing audit reports
\n\u2022 Providing guidance on revenue enhancement, cost reduction and profit maximisation
\n\u2022 Preparing and analysing financial statements like cash flow statement, balance sheet and profit and loss statement
\n\u2022 Submitting annual tax returns<\/p>\n
Qualifications for Accountant
\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
\n\u2022 2-5 years of accounting\/finance experience
\n\u2022 Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
\n\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
\n\u2022 Experience with accounting software
\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
\n\u2022 Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
\n\u2022 Highly detail-oriented
