Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Supervisor – Accounting Services to lead and manage a team handling accounting operations. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, people management skills, and the ability to ensure service delivery meets quality and timeline standards.
Key Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to the accounting services team.

Ensure accounting operations are performed in line with defined standards, policies, and timelines.

Review expenditure, expense, payment, and outstanding reports for accuracy and proper authorization.

Act as a point of contact and mentor for resolving complex accounting-related issues.

Monitor project metrics, productivity, and quality parameters.

Track employee performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.

Support hiring, training, performance appraisals, and pay review processes.

Manage team capacity, work allocation, and daily operational priorities.

Assist managers with departmental initiatives and process improvement discussions.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5 to 8 years of overall experience in accounting, finance, or shared services.

Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role, managing at least 3 or more team members.

Relevant experience in accounting services or shared services environment.

Proven experience managing or supervising a team (minimum 3+ team members).

Strong understanding of accounting processes, systems, and procedures.

Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems/tools.
