Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Supervisor – Accounting Services to lead and manage daily operations within the accounting function. The role involves overseeing multiple accounting processes, ensuring operational accuracy, team performance, and adherence to compliance standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting operations, proven leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency and quality across teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily accounting operations, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Review expenditure, payment, and outstanding reports to ensure proper authorization and accuracy.

Take ownership and accountability for multiple review deliverables within the accounting process.

Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members to meet performance and quality targets.

Coordinate work activities across teams and departments to enhance collaboration and process efficiency.

Partner with internal management to support process improvement initiatives and department objectives.

Participate in discussions with clients and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance service delivery.

Support the Senior Manager in day-to-day administrative and operational functions.

Conduct performance appraisals, manage pay reviews, and oversee training and development for the team.

Manage team staffing, including hiring, onboarding, and, where required, separation processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.

Perform additional supervisory duties or special projects as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

Experience: 6–9 years in accounting or finance operations, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of accounting principles and operational workflows.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Knowledge of reporting, reconciliations, and financial review processes.
