Assistant Manager – Record to Report

Position Overview

Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager – Record to Report (R2R). This role requires a strong subject matter expert (SME) with extensive accounting experience and the ability to manage teams of 10–15 members. The candidate will oversee end-to-end accounting, reconciliation, month-end close, and audit compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Record to Report operations with a team of 10–15 professionals.

• Oversee month-end close and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Monitor performance metrics, KPIs, and SLA adherence.

• Coordinate audit requirements and ensure timely submission of evidence and deliverables.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Drive process improvements and support standardization initiatives across functions.

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• MBA in Finance (B.Com degree holders are also eligible).

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Record to Report, General Ledger, or Accounting operations.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CA Inter qualification preferred.

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems such as JDE or SAP.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
