Position Overview

The Accounting Services Associate IV is responsible for performing and coordinating a range of accounting and operational activities that ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data. This role requires developed proficiency in accounting processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously within established procedures. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, guiding junior team members and contributing to continuous process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.

  • Extract and compile data for dashboards and reconciliation metrics.

  • Provide audit support by preparing and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

  • Ensure all process documents and desktop procedures are updated and compliant with internal standards.

  • Participate in and oversee first-level accounting tasks and quality verification activities.

  • Support and guide the quality team to maintain high performance standards.

  • Identify and propose process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaborate across teams to support the achievement of departmental and organizational goals.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, processes, and systems.

  • Developed analytical, operational, and coordination skills.

  • Ability to review complex data and ensure accuracy in reporting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Vocational training, certifications, or equivalent accounting experience required.

  • Experience: 2–4 years of relevant accounting or finance operations experience.
