Position Overview
The Supervisor – Accounting Services will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, managing team performance, and ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial services. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures, strong leadership abilities, and proven experience in supervising accounting or financial operations teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the accounting services team.

Review expenditure, expense, and payment reports to ensure proper authorization and accuracy.

Provide direction and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to service standards and timelines.

Act as a key point of contact for resolving complex accounting issues and inquiries.

Track project metrics and maintain employee performance records, providing regular feedback and appraisals.

Manage hiring, onboarding, and termination processes in alignment with company policies.

Oversee training programs to build team capability and ensure operational excellence.

Collaborate across departments to drive efficiency and support organizational goals.

Participate in process improvement discussions and assist managers with departmental initiatives.

Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and external regulations.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall business objectives.
Skills & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Experience: 5–8 years of experience in accounting or financial operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and systems.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to accuracy and detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software applications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination and stakeholder engagement.

Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.

Demonstrated capability in team leadership, coaching, and performance management.
