Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor – Accounting Services to lead and manage a team handling accounting operations. The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, people management skills, and the ability to ensure service delivery meets quality and timeline standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to the accounting services team.

  • Ensure accounting operations are performed in line with defined standards, policies, and timelines.

  • Review expenditure, expense, payment, and outstanding reports for accuracy and proper authorization.

  • Act as a point of contact and mentor for resolving complex accounting-related issues.

  • Monitor project metrics, productivity, and quality parameters.

  • Track employee performance and provide regular feedback and coaching.

  • Support hiring, training, performance appraisals, and pay review processes.

  • Manage team capacity, work allocation, and daily operational priorities.

  • Assist managers with departmental initiatives and process improvement discussions.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5 to 8 years of overall experience in accounting, finance, or shared services.

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role, managing at least 3 or more team members.

  • Relevant experience in accounting services or shared services environment.

  • Proven experience managing or supervising a team (minimum 3+ team members).

  • Strong understanding of accounting processes, systems, and procedures.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems/tools.
